Case study · Real estate
We built Ohmer. It's on the App Store right now.
Ohmer is a Canadian real estate app for buyers, homeowners, landlords and the pros they hire. StackPlus designed and built all of it: the iOS and Android app, the backend, the admin portal, and the AI search assistant inside it.
- Live on the App Store
- One codebase, iOS and Android
- AI search built in
- Built in Edmonton
iOS & Android
One React Native codebase. Native feel on both stores.
The whole product
App, Node.js backend, admin portal, and the AI assistant.
Live in production
Published on the Apple App Store, serving real users.
Concept to launch
Scoped, built and shipped by one team, start to finish.
The idea
Most real estate apps die the day you get the keys
You search, you buy, you delete the app. That is the life of almost every real estate app, and it is the problem Ohmer set out to fix.
The idea: one app that stays useful for the whole journey. Search and book showings when you are buying. Track your property's value, equity and cash flow once you own it. Manage your tenants if you rent it out. Hire a realtor, a plumber or a cleaner from the same place, and pay them in the app.
Live listing data at scale
MLS feeds, map search, favourites and saved filters had to stay fast across thousands of listings.
Two platforms, one build
Maps, push notifications, chat and payments had to feel native on iPhone and Android without building twice.
AI that belongs in the flow
The assistant had to live inside search, typed or spoken, not sit in a separate chatbot tab nobody opens.
What we built
Four products in one app
Each of these could ship as its own app. In Ohmer they share one account, one design and one backend.
Ohmi AI search
Say or type what you want, like "three bed under $500k near good schools", and it becomes live MLS filters and results. Built on the OpenAI API with voice input.
Property tracker
Purchase price, loan balance, equity and monthly cash flow on one dashboard, with a timeline for renovations and documents. The app keeps earning its place after closing day.
Landlord & tenant hub
Lease terms, appliances, damage and maintenance, insurance and keys, tracked per property. Both sides see the same record, so fewer arguments.
Hire-a-pro marketplace
Find realtors and home service providers, check their ratings, chat, book the job and pay, all inside the app. Stripe and VoPay handle the money.
Straight from the App Store
These are the real screens
Not mockups. These are the production screenshots from Ohmer's App Store listing today.

The stack
Boring, proven tools. On purpose.
Nothing exotic. Every piece is something you can hire for, scale, and still understand in five years.
For brokerages and teams
The same engineering, pointed at your business
Ohmer proves we can ship a full real estate platform to the App Store. Most brokerages don't need a consumer app. They need these:
Leads answered in seconds
An assistant that replies to your Zillow, Realtor.ca and website leads right away, asks the qualifying questions, books the consult and writes it to your CRM. Before the buyer moves on to whoever answers first.
Listing content on autopilot
A property goes live and the summary, social posts and email blast are drafted from the MLS data before your marketing person has opened their laptop.
Your own branded portal
Web and mobile apps under your name, for your agents and your buyers. Search, showings, documents and updates in one place instead of forty email threads.
